Homework for first lesson Chris Young

Our first lesson is not until Saturday 12th March. So I would like all the students who come to my lessons to do the following :
1) Read the grammar on page 138 of English File.
2) Do the exercises on page 139.
3) Find the same items in English Grammar in Use and do the corresponding exercises.
4) Read the text on page 73 of English File. Then do exercise C and How Words Work ex 1 and 2.
5) Read the text on page 78 of English File and then do exercise 4a, 4b and 4c.
6) Continue with the novel you are reading. You should have read 75-80% by now. Remember to make notes on the vocabulary.
7) Continue with the DVD work you are doing. Remember to make notes on the vocabulary.
8) Do one of the composition exercises listed towards the end of Extra 1. Choose whichever one interests you most.

Il secondo semestre inizia martedì il primo marzo. Ricordatevi comunque che secondo il calendario accademico 2010-2011, è vacanza per carnevale dal 5 marzo al 8 marzo (compreso quindi sabato il 5, lunedì il 7 e martedì l'8 marzo). Allora la prima lezione utile per i miei gruppi sarà sabato il 12 marzo.
