Then section d, write an essay, 180-200 words, but
don't describe your ideal house, don't use expressions like 'it's perfectly situated'. Instead, write an honest description of a real house or flat – the flat you are renting, or your family home in Rome or in your hometown or at the sea or in the mountains. Make sure you explain its location clearly and include good aspects and the bad aspects too and what it means to you.
Or (3) if you prefer, you could imagine you are sharing a flat in Rome and that one of your flatmates is leaving soon. Write an advertisement to put on a university noticeboard to try and find a new flatmate. Include information about the rent, bills, the other flatmates, any rules or preferences and contact details. to correct together at ricevimento or you can post it on Stream or send it to me by email (christopher.young@uniroma1.it)
(6) Everybody should do exercises a-b on page 124. Then write a biography, but NOT of someone famous. Write a biography of your mum, dad, grandmother, grandfather, an uncle or aunt, or a friend of the family or anyone that you know really well, who is at least 20 years older than you. Don't write anything until you have interviewed them. Try and find out something you didn't already know!
